We're Back!
The team and I have been away on vacation and we've come back to an over flowing inbox! Christ, you guys have been busy! - Keep up the good work!

However, due to our 600+ messages we're currently going through and dealing with we are going to struggle answering questions as quickly as we normally do, so please bare with us!

We have also been going through alot of our older images and removing them as our contracts have expired with some of the photographers who no longer work with us...

However... We have been doing several new photoshoots with some stunning models, both male and female and will be filtering through them and uploading images at the earliest possible convenience!

Office Hours:
Our office is open from 9am to 5pm (GMT) Monday to Friday. This means any questions, queries, messages during the weekend will not be responded to, until Monday/Tuesday. - Thank you.

USING OUTSIDE OF DA:
As of 28th of July 08, you now have permission to use our stock OUTSIDE of DeviantART!! This is brilliant news, and I'm sure many of you agree as in the past we'd sadly turned down hundreds of requests.

However, when using our stock outside of DeviantART you MUST include credit and a link back to our direct profile page here on DeviantART. - Also you may not use the stock images for website templates, or for commerical and/or profitable use. - You may also NOT use our stock on the website, Model Mayhem! We have had too many people claiming our pictures as their own and any of our images found on Model Mayhem will result in a warning, or a copyright fine! - As we're absolutely sick of seeing our images on there!!

Due to the amount of stock images we have, we haven't got through the process of changing all the rules on each image as we just don't have the time, so please abide by our journal rules, rather than the description rules for each of our images. - Thank you.

RETOUCHING:
If you are retouching our stock, you MUST include the before and after pictures in the same deviation. If you fail to do so, we will ask you to remove your deviation!

N.B. We appreciate people contacting us when they see some of our photography. But we do alot of work for David Lloyd Saks, Toni&Guy, etc who are hair and beauty specialists so you will see some of our images in popular magazines so please stop telling us! We are aware! As of late we have also been doing some major contract work with Nicky Clarke, Hugo Boss and Sanpatrick.
Also, I'm not the only photographer here. There is a full team here who have given this account permission to use their images for stock purposes. So remember to thank the team, not just me!

Also we do not allow people to just 'change the lighting' or 'blur out blemishes' these images are for MANIPULATION. However, if you show the before and after shot in your deviation that is acceptable - If you do not show the before and after we will ask you politely to remove your deviation; failing that we will ask DeviantART to remove it.

Q. How can I support Katanaz-stock?
A. Feel free to donate subscriptions, which enable us to supply you with images more easily. Feel free to advertise us, or feature us in journals for more coverage!

Q. What Camera do you use?
A. We use many different types of camera for different shots but we mainly use the following: Canon EOS-1DS Mark II, Kodak ProBack645, NIKON D1X, and Hasselblad CF II-39.

Q. Can I retouch your stock?
A. Yes, but you MUST include the before and after images in the same deviation. Failing this, we will ask you to remove your deviation.

Q. Who have you worked for?
A. Toni&Guy, Nicky Clarke, Saks, Adobe, Sanpatrick, D'Zage, Je T'aime (more to be listed)

Q. Can I use your photographs
A. Yes, of course you can. This is a stock account, where I offer my pictures to the community. Aslong as they are being used respectively and not in offensive or pornographic situations, then that's fine.

Q. Can I use your stock on a roleplaying website?
A. Yes and no.. As it states above, these stocks are for artists and manipulation use. Using our stock on a roleplaying site as a standard image is not allowed. However, if you manipulate one of our images, add a background, change eye colour, hair colour etc, we will allow you to use the image on a roleplaying site. Remember, the image must be manipulated to a large extent, and must differ from the original image.

Q. Are these all your own works?
A. Yes & No. Some were taken by myself and the rest have had their ownership rights passed to myself by my work colleagues. Some peices of my work are maybe a year old or even older, but I will try and get some newer stuff in asap.

Q. Do you take requests?
A. Sometimes but I can't promise they will be done, but I take all requests as suggestions for future work.

Q. Why isn't there any themed stock like you find on DA such as fancydress costumes?
A. We do not take that genre of photography but it can be arranged if people really want them, remember be creative! Perhaps find a dress and photoshop it onto one of our models..!

Q. Can I use one of your images and make it into new stock?
A. No. My images are for manipulation use only and you are not allowed to reproduce my stock.

Q. Can I use your stock outside of DA?
A. Yes! But you MUST credit us, with a link back to our profile page! You may not use the stock images for website templates, or for commerical and/or profitable use.

Q. Can I use your stock in my prints?
A. Yes. - Only through DeviantART. We do now allow you to create your own prints through printing companies etc. All prints MUST go through DeviantART.

Q. I found your stock images on another site / in someone elses DA account and they say the images belong to them! What do I do?
A. Contact me by note giving the URL or account name and we shall deal with the problem directly and legal action may be taken.

Q. What if I fail to abide by your stock rules and wishes?
A. If enough people go against my rules I will not hesitate in closing this account.
